Ordered a refurb Logitech Harmony One off of the Bay and it arrived DOA. Bad battery and bad charging dock. Spent $14 to return it. So this time I ordered a refurb right from Logitech....it arrive DOA with a bad screen. I give. Any other great remotes out there?

+1 on that - have had my remote going on 5 years now. Bought it new from Best Buy.
Not cheap but but has been well worth the price with all the home theater upgrades I have done over that time.

do you have all your equipment located in 1 spot?
I hate my harmony, the whole circle jerk point at 12 different spots and hope you hit the right point in the things programming thing gets old,
worst money ever spent for my home theatre setup

I have a Harmony 880 that I bought several years ago and I love it.
It replaced eight remotes I use to fumble with.
It has been working flawlessly for me.

I bought a gently used one from a friend to replace y ailing 880. Zero problems and I would buy a brand new today if mine shit the bed, Logitech stands behind their stuff have you contacted them about the DoA unit? Unless you want to pay trip,e the price of the One new, there is no better universal remote.

I use an 880 also and have a couple others out in the field at family homes.  Its really a great device and pretty easy to set up.  There are also cheaper ones that are able to do a lot of the same things but not control as many devices.

I really like my 880, the only thing they screwed up on is the tactile feel of the buttons - they all feel the same in the dark.
I wish they would have built some sort of tactile differences into the buttons so I wouldn't have to turn a light on every time I wanted to press a button....

I absolutely love my Harmony One and would replace it at full retail if it died. It's been great for over three years so far.

Amazon has them for $149. Stop being cheap and you'll be happier.  ;-)
