Does anybody know where to find some?
My father was on KSP's first full time SRT team and their outdoor camo was Rhodesian camo. I have yet to find a camo that blends better for my area; multi cam, ATACS, MARPAT, you name it - I've tried it. Rhodesian just works the best. I've got two tops and one pair of pants left and they are about as faded as camo can get and still be camo. Any suggestions? |

I've heard nothing but problems from Trident. Such as not shipping anything, not being response, or saying that they'll get more soon and never having anything. I do know that someone on the New Rhodesian Forum was trying to do a limited run of reproductions and was in the process of trying to get the colours right, which seems to be the problem with most repros. Trident's repros (I have one of their shirts which I bought from someone on the FalFiles) get the pattern and colours down perfectly, but the print fades and even scratches off easy, and they are cheap when it comes to the construction of the garments (they use some of the crappiest buttons I've ever had on a shirt). The real stuff, unfortunately, is expensive and too collectible to be something to wear for practical use these days. Zimbabwe uses a variation uppon the pattern, but the cuts aren't quite the same and the colours are off; they also changed the way the pattern overlaps. It should be serviceable, though, and while I don't think it will be easy to find, I don't believe it costs an arm and a leg, either. I'd absolutely love to have someone make quality Rhodesian camouflage, with repros of the original uniforms and other patterns available in it. But no one seems to really go for it. It works great where I live. |

I have a set, complete with Boonie. But I am no longer a 32 Waist and Medium jacket sized individual..

I haven't looked to closely at the details of the pattern to see how accurate it is, but it doesn't fade or scratch off easily, that's for sure. The colours are totally off, though, which is my main issue with it. It contrasts quite a bit with my Trident shirt and jacket, which as I mentioned, are as good as a match as can be had for the original colours. |

i think the one in shotgun news is kamabee keep or something like that. <===== camo junkie That stuff is Pakistani, not Rhodesian, last I checked. It is in the same class, pattern-wise, but ultimately is a different pattern. I thought it was Portuguese? (but otherwise the same; it looks similar but is a slightly different pattern) |

(but otherwise the same; it looks similar but is a slightly different pattern) The Portuguese camo used on the African colonies was a "lizard stripe" type pattern. The colours are similar, but the pattern is quite different compared to Rhodesian camouflage. |

I got a shirt/pants/ jacket/ set back in the '80s. One of the pieces was marked ADDER, and another was marked ADRO, which I took to be authentic mil-surp. The jacket and shirt I still have, but I fell out of a treestand a few years back and at the hospital they cut my pants off with scissors |
