| I get a very durable plastic bag from USPS declaring Saturday, May 12th as asking for canned and durable goods for donation, leave the bag in front of the mailbox. I fill the bag full of soups, canned meat and tuna. Pasta and sauce, Hamburger Helper, and stocks. The mailman delevers the mail to the mailbox. And leaves the bag full of donated food. Pretty piss poor performance on the part of the Post Office. |

It isn't just the mailman that picks up the food. Other groups get involved and quite often they make the pick ups or the mailman comes back later to pick it up.
Do you really think the mailman walks down the street with his hands full of mail, sorting and delivering it and then uses a prehensile tail to carry all the bags on the route? If it is still there tomorrow AM then call the post office and ask what the hell is going on. |
