I've been using ego-T for about two months. Love it and not smoking regulars. My wife is happy, too. However, I have a problem with atomizers and I haven't been able to resolve it yet. After about a week the vapor production goes drastically down. The atomizer still works, it produces vapor. Just not enough. I keep ordering new atomizers, but this gets pretty annoying, not to mention the expense. I blow them out, I clean the vent hole using a paper clip. No difference. I tried "dry burning" them, but with no good results. In fact, I've killed 4 attys trying to clean them. There's got to be a better way.

Resident vapers, please advise.

Get a pick and pull the metal wick holder out.

Take a lighter to the back side of the wick to clean the crud stuff off.

Put wick back in atty and hit the battery button a few times to see the vapor.

Should be good as new.

If this doesn't work you may need to go buy some wick material and re wick them. GL

Something I've just got was the Ego-C atomizers.  They replace the actual heating element, not the whole cone, and are $5 a piece as opposed to $10-15, so I don't feel as bad, or light in the wallet, when I replace the atomizer.

If you're constantly puffing off of one e-cig you're probably not helping things.  If you have two, roatate between the two so that you're not constantly getting one nuclear hot.

My neighbor has had some luck soaking dead or near-dead atomizers in rubbing alcohol then baking them in the oven (to dry them out).  It seems that darker e-liquids seem to gum things up quicker than clearer liquids.  Check out youtube for a bunch of videos on cleaning if it's that big of a deal to you.

I kind of sidestepped a lot of the maintenance by getting those $3 "mega" ego cartomizers.  I use them until the flavor goes off or they gum up, and toss.  I usually get a few weeks out of each.

One of them and a 900mah battery and I'm good for a day.
