If you don't have a military ID, you can't buy anything on base. There are tons of surplus stores around Columbus where you could buy some though.

Do they still sell them in Commissary's ? I haven't set foot in one since I retired back in 2005. They used to be available and the price was pretty good.

Ok, okay. There's a U.S. Cavalry store at the main PX at Benning that might have them, but even that's fairly unlikely. I doubt they actually sell them anywhere on Ft. Benning.
