Do "they" make a shot timer that senses hits instead of hearing shots.
That way you could shoot or compete with a friend instead of needing to be the only one shooting. |

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but Steel Challenge matches often us a micro-switch wired to the stop plate to get the last shot hit time, as opposed to the last shot fired time.
Are you talking about like two guys shooting man v. man elimination / shootoff style? That's usually accomplished with one timer, and a 2-popper set up where the one who hits his popper first wins (the poppers overlap, so the winner's popper is at the bottom). |

I'm thinking something like a shot timer on your hip that uses wireless sensors on the target.
Each shooter has 1 or more targets and possibly more than 2 shooters. then you could compete on things like who can make the most hits in 4 seconds or who can make 3 hits the fastest. Or compete for who has the quickest draw. It just seems like something that should exist. |
