When is Mexico going to admit it's in a state of civil war? |
|
Mexico must have problems when the military is driving around Puerto Vallarta (Saturday 3-17-2012) with Mk19's mounted on top of their jeeps. It is one of those moments when you question why you are even down there.
I really loved seeing the two trucks parked at the airport enterance with HK21's ready to roll also. |

Have you ever seen a Mexican calendar depicting their presidentes? The dates in office are a clue...eg. 1920-1920. 1930-1931,1931-1931...just saying |
| I don't know if you can call it a civil war because there's no political cause at issue, just money and murder. PRI ran Mexico for years and years as an oligarchy. They were corrupt to the bone and even deeper, but it was corruption controlled by politicians. Now, under PAN, they're just as corrupt but it's corruption controlled by the gangsters. Entire platoons and companies of trained military members have deserted over the past decade or so and gone over to the gangs, and the police have always been for hire. Some are hired out by Sinaloa, some by the Zetas, some by Juarez, some by La Familia. There's no way to know who is sold out to whom without a scorecard. |

Since 1934, all presidents have sat 6 years. And going back to 1920, they all seemed to be doing 2 year terms. Everything before that is pre Mexican Revolution. |
