That's badass. I'm glad there is audio to go with it. Kind of eerie but awesome

Interesting.  Yes, SRB videos have been posted before, but I don't remember one with sound and telemetry data before.

Noticed that Ben Burtt from Skywalker Sound was credited with the sound mixing?

Thank you, Obunghole, for axing the shuttle.

Give blame where it is due. He didn't axe it, that belongs to guys before.

Now, what he did axe was the follow on project.

It helps to have the right data, especially if one is going to argue against him or his supporters.

for some reason NASA being the one government agency that could save the planet... is always the first place politicians look to cut money from.  Even though much MUCH MUCH less important agency's get way more.  It's amazing NASA does anything with the sick joke little amount of funds they get.

Very cool. 0-2900mph and 28 miles in 130sec, not bad, LOL

Cool how you can see the other booster coming down at the end not to far away from the first, how you can see the shutle continuing after the boosters fall away at they tumble down and how you can see the smoke trail from Florida up into the sky as the boosters are coming down.

The one odd thing that I noticed was that as the shuttle lifts off it does not accelerate as fast as I would have though, hell 10 seconds in its "only" going 100mph, lol

Neat vid, thanks.

Always makes me angry that there are people that claim the video is fake.

Not fake but the video and sound where both edited and spliced together from different missions.  That tends to bring out the tinfoil hats.
