Okay, I killed my Samsung Rugby doing dismounted ops training at Ft Dix.  It isn't as tough as they say it is apparently.  

I am looking to upgrade to something else.  I could stick with a regular phone since I kind of already have a smart phone since I am issued a Blackberry, but I am looking at smart phones.

I am also pretty cheap, so I have been looking at the refurb stuff AT&T has.  My wife already has a IPhone 4s through them and most of the family is AT&T as well.

What do you guys recommend for a good phone?  It will have to have good cases available for it.  

I am not exactly techno-illiterate but I am not exactly up on the latest and greatest out there.

Plenty of refurbished, used, or new old stock phones floating around on eBay including iPhones.

My Droid X was a "like new" eBay special for $200 last year.  Still no problems whatsoever.

I can get an IPhone 3S refurb free with an upgrade from AT&T.  It isn't the newest toy on the block, but I doubt it will bother me much.



I am also eyeballing the Samsung Rugby Smart, which is an Adroid phone.

I ended up buying the Samsung Rugby Smart.  It is an Adroid based phone.  Hopefully I won't kill this one anytime soon.
