There is a quote about (paraphrasing here) once having hunted man you can never hunt anything again, for man is the most dangerous game of all. Can anyone tell me the title of the story so I can get it? Thanks.

That sounds like something from the short story, The Most Dangerous Game.

I dont know if Hemingway talked abou hunting men (as in war) I might be wrong.  Doesn't sound like Hem, though.

"There is no hunting like the hunting of man. And those who have hunted armed men, and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter"

From memory, so it might not be accurate

"Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter. You will meet them doing various things with resolve, but their interest rarely holds because after the other thing ordinary life is as flat as the taste of wine when the taste buds have been burned off your tongue."
