Why the YWCA and not the YMCA. Here's the YMCA's code of conduct regarding guns...
Weapons and Dangerous Objects
No one is permitted to bring onto the premises or have in their possession while engaging in any Y activity: any firearm, stun gun, knife or any other dangerous object or substance that may be used to harm another person. |

Private property and all that. If the YWCA endorsed, or actively promoted anti-gun laws... And YMCA didn't... One of them would make the list and one of them wouldn't. If someone wants to make their own policy for their own property, they have every right to do it. Great. Good for them. I can take my patronage somewhere else... |
