Good for you.  As long as there are good paying blue collar jobs out there you will be ok.  White collar?  Engineering?  Business?  .........No.

Nothing against tats, just impractical if going into any white collar field.  There are exceptions, but you are playing with statistics here......

Yep, it's too easy isn't it? They do it themselves. Look at me, I'm inked, fuck off if you don't like the 'art'. Look at me, I'm a lesbian, and want state sanctioned marraige. Look at me, I'm a hyphenated 'minority' group and want test scores lowered or some other special treatment.

Now, just posting pics of the tats would have been fine. I would have complimented the OP on a few of them.

If you were a pureskin you would refer to them as 18th and 19th century; not 1700 and 1800 period. That makes them sound like night classes.

Exactly. The great majority of people who get tattoos suffer immensely from low self esteem. They also are sheep who want to fit in with the "cool kids" and think tattoos are a way to be accepted and admired. Years ago the only people who got tattooed were criminals and other low lifes and the way I see it not much has changed. To each his own though. Doesn't bother me a bit if people want to make themselves look like ghetto thugs or inmates.

As far as the ink.. to each their own. It will make for a hell of a description on a police report someday.
