this auction is taking place exactly 3 miles from my front door and it's just depressing as hell i've always wanted my own hovercraft... http://www.elcoauctions.com/auction_detail.php?id=173875 CANAIR 512 12 Passenger Commercial HOVERCRAFT, twin Honda 100hp engines, approximately 40 knot top speed, comes with transport trailer. 2,460 pound payload capacity. Only seven of these were made! This one is number 2. Used by search and rescue units, oil field shallow water exploration, tourist businesses, etc. More details and pics coming soon. ETA: not that these would suck either 1962 Mercedes Benz Unimog All Terrain Truck. Fully restored and ready to go. These trucks are used by European military units, municipalties, etc. Mercedes is still producing these vehicles. These vehicles have 3 feet of ground clearance, can carry VERY large payloads and are nearly impossible to get stuck! The pictures and details are coming soon. Do a little research on the Unimog, you will be impressed. Imagine it with a top-drive, hunters! 1997 H1 Hummer, 37k miles! This is the big military style version. Diesel engine! The seller has had this vehicle painted in camouflage just before the auction to better suit the South Texas hunting environment. This is the 4 door hardtop version with the pickup bed. MAX IV 6 Wheel Drive Amphibeous All Terrain Vehicle, only 65 hours on the 25hp Kolher gas engine! It has a rollover cage and a removable full enclosure canopy to include windshield. This rig will run over any difficult terrain at speeds near 40mph! It also can be used to cross deep water as it is designed to float. The paddle tires propel you through the water at about 7mph. The transmission is a T-20 Skid Steer. Holds 4 adults and will tow 1,000 pounds! Lots of upgrades to include oversize tires. It has been very well maintained to include a complete preventative maintenance check up just before being brought in. This thing is fun! |
