is the best day to day beer there is. I know that we all like certain beers with certain meals, or occasions, or season, or weather, or time of day, but, you cannot argue that Yuengling works amazingly with every situation.
Debate. |
|
The only debate you will find is from guys whose mission in life is to find the most obscure beer, and then declare it to be the best beer ever. That is, until they find another obscure brand. I like what I like. Yuengling is a good beer at a budget price. Since it came to Ohio, I drink less Miller High Life, and more Yuengling. |
|
Good beer...I was psyched that a college bar that I went to back in the day offered $1 domestic bottles during Monday Night Football...we would kill some Yuengling during the game
Few year before that they had a fire in their facility and it was hard to come by...the manager would always stash himself a 6-pack |

Quoted: Quoted: Tastes like shit around here. Distributors let it wander through too many hot/cold cycles. Tastes great when I get it elsewhere though. Apparently the Yeungling from the Tampa brewery isn't distributed in Florida? No, I just think that whoever distributes it to the final point of sale at my local store likes to let it get hot and then put it in the cold again. It's the skunkiest shit ever, bar none. If I go out of town and get it someplace else, it tastes fine. |

Meh. Another mediocre beer that people praise because their social group says they should.

You hit that out of the fucking ball park. I'd give you a Fuller's ESB as a reward if I could. |

It's hilarious how butthurt people get about beer. Like what you like, everyone else will like what they like. Do your best to not lose any sleep over it.
I drink mostly Heineken and Yuengling. I couldn't give two shits about finding some obscure super beer. I drink for the effects of the alcohol, I couldn't even pretend to care about what anyone else thinks about what I'm drinking. |

What do you drink? Yes I know, we've probably never heard of it. |

Yuengling –– good stuff. Had it first in Pittsburgh last year. You hit it on the head, it isn't the "best" but it just hits the spot as a good all around beer and different than the Buds, Millers, etc. Went to the silencer shoot in Memphis and they had it in TN. On the way to the airport with little time to spare, I decided I needed some at home. Got a quick 6 pack, wrapped each bottle up in a UPS bubble envelope from a shipping kiosk, wrapped each tube in clothes and in the suitcase. I'm sure the TSA enjoyed that picture... Somehow, they made it home safe. All gone now... Need it in Wisconsin!! |

Leinie's does fill that niche probably in a similar place to Yuengling –– but it is nice to have something different and doesn't taste the same for sure. Because I like it? If any fellow arfcommer is coming up from Ohio (closest) to WI or even IL, let me know please? |
