[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lunch!! (Page 1 of 2)

Camp food. Good simple camp food. 1/2 lb. of hamburger with potatoes, carrots and onion slices. Layer half the veggies on some tinfoil, add the burger and top with more veggies. Wrap it up tight and throw it in the coals. Add salt and pepper and enjoy. Or you could add peppers and such, but bell peppers are currently $1.99 each.
Best enjoyedvin the crisp 38* sunshine. |

Best enjoyedvin the crisp 38* sunshine. That's a foil dinner? Sorry, but I can cook a better foil dinner with my asshole. |

Let me attempt to help save this thread with a pic of my lunch - even though I have no knife, no guns, no ale, and no back up mags. I'm still pretty sure mine was better, since we can at least identify it. http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m83/jsxtreme2003/1329508656.jpg Looks good. You have saved the day. |

OP, don't let them get to you. It looks delicious to me. Reminds me of my days in scouts. Heck, my family would make them on cold winter days and put them on top of our coal stove to cook for supper. They are great because each person can make their foil pack the way they want and barely any clean-up afterward.
ETA: What knife is that? |

This was a typical Friday night meal when we went camping in Scouts too. Set up camp, start a fire and throw your dinner in the coals. The knife isa SOG Flash ll. |

Meh, I'd eat it, but not con mucho gusto. It could certainly use some more pizazz. But like I said peppers were too expensive and you have to be careful adding bbq sauce, etc. because there's plenty of moisture trapped in the package. Some Dillo Dust would have been nice. |

Ew. Seriously? That's gross. I watch way to much television. |
|
You need a 1/2" tall front sight. For whatever reason Rossi uses one that's too short. But they offer a taller one. I finished signting it in yesterday. Just above the bull and just below with or without the sight steps at 25 yds. Now I'll find a load it likes and take a file to the steps. .45 Colt, of course. |
|
I would give the OP points for the Mare's leg but the can of dog food and taters just don't do anything for me. |
|
My new favorite commercial. |

I have a 357 and a 44mag. Another project that will have to get in line. Why didn't they put the correct front sight on in the first place??????? |

I put on a William's with ivory (well white) bead but it's a hair small. Probably the difference between inch and metric cutters. |

Best enjoyedvin the crisp 38* sunshine. I think you need to wrap it up tight and throw it on the coals for a little longer. That hamburger looks raw.
