So I am looking for some spring break ideas. My spring break is the first week of march. I am planning on taking a girl along (not quite dating, but not far off either). I am looking for some ideas on places to go. Here are a few ideas I had so far:
-Myrtle Beach, SC -Hilton Head Island, SC -Daytona Beach, FL -Destin, FL -Cape San Blas, FL I am trying to find something that's not too crowded and centered around partying 24/7 but not boring either. |
| If you want to do the FL thing, I would suggest maybe Destin, FL. A little nicer and more laid back than the huge party scenes such as PCB but still a good time. Another thought would be to take your lady friend to Savannah, GA. Downtown is a fun place to go with a lot of good bars that have their own vibe. Also if you go to Savannah, Tybee Island is about 20 min from downtown so you could do the beach thing also. |

Ive been to HHI more times then i can count. I love the place, but Im not sure its the type of location you are looking for. It will likely be pretty calm during that time. If you are looking for a calm atmosphere with a mild climate (march), enjoy.

Destin is nicer, for sure, DAB is a party, but as clean as a public restroom.
You're bringing your own trim, I'd stay away from the frat boy circus that can be DAB at spring break. There are plenty of bars around Destin/Sandestin. Savanah is hard to beat, clean, nice, very romantic, safe , walk around and hit enough bars to put you and your Lady GaGa in the spins. If it were you and some dudes, DAB for sure. Otherwise, why fight the crowds. Oh, never fuck with a cop from DABPD or Volusia SO. Just DON't DO IT.

| Dude, if you are taking a chick with you you are NOT going on Spring Break you are going on VACATION! Spring Break is when you go to a crazy party town and have sex with random horny chicks who you will NEVER see or hear from! No point in bringing sand to the beach. It sounds like you are trying to get it in by taking this chick...... if she is not putting out now she won't just cause you took her on a vacation! I could tell you stories about Spring Break that most guys only read about in Penthouse letters. Oh do I wish I could go again! Is 36 to old to go on a Spring Break? |

1.) Destin 2.) Mexico Beach 3.) Santa Rosa Beach Can anyone comment on how busy it gets during the first week of March in Destin? I'd also like to get more info on locations 2 and 3 in terms of stuff to do, places to eat, places to stay, etc. |
