My wife sells Avon crap.
(everyone needs a hobby, this is hers) I need a cheap book keeping program that will help her keep track of total sales, cost of items, sales taxes, returns, etc. She has neglected keeping track of this stuff and every February for the last 4 years it is a pain in the ass to compile all this info from her invoices and get it together for tax time. Any recommendation? |

Any recommendation? My GF has been doing this for 8 years or so. Just out of curiosity, how much dose she sell a month? Mine is doing around $150 and it seems to cost her money to do it. It don't make sense to me but like you said, it's her hobby. That and pininterest

She sells just over the $10,100 level per year. It pays for her Avon stuff, Avon stuff for our daughter, and she makes some money from it. I would say $1000/year. I can't bitch, my hobbies cost us money.
Have your GF start a separate checking account for her Avon, you can usually find a bank to give you free checking. The only money in and out is Avon money. That's the easiest way to see if you are, at minimum, breaking even... ETA: If the bank will give you an ATM/Check Card, you can use it to make the Avon Online payments. |
