Fresh jalapenos rubbed with butter, sprinkled with Montreal seasoning then grilled. I cant stop eating them or putting them in other foods. Yeah I know they are not the hottest peppers in the world. I like the flavor. I don't really care to squirm for 45 minutes from a ghost pepper. Thats just retarded. Anyway. Anyone sell flame retardant toilet paper? I love the snack but the price I am paying is beginning to be a bit much. I never had that problem with peppers before but I guess 10 a day will take its toll. So, what it your dumb but delicious snack? |

I bring a bag of them to work and snack on them. I have been trying to find a healthy snack and this fits the bill. Today I rolled one up in prosciutto and it was damn good. Tomorrow night I am going to wrap one in prosciutto and then bacon and then broil them. I cant see how it would be anything but awesome. Might even put a little sun dried tomato inside one as an experiment. |

Quoted: Bacon wrapped were more addictive than I thought. I will have to get smaller peppers next time though. I would eat those. Nothing good would come of it, but I would eat those. |

Fill inside with cream cheese, wrap in bacon, and place on skewer. Then grill for 30-45 minutes. They are outstanding. They are also really good with a piece of shrimp stuffed inside of them. |

BBQ potato chips, in a bowl, covered in Huy-Fong hot sauce.
Eat in a bowl like cereal, chase it down with whole milk, fresh from the cow. (milk pasteurized in double boiler, stainless pot in canning pot, if you never had whole milk with all that fat, man, you missed it.) |

Peppers look good.
Like to get large hot bananna peppers from garden, stuff with my home made hot sausage, bake in casserole dish covered in garden fresh plum tomatoes, with garlic bread sticks. Still like the chips and hot sauce in a bowl, forgot to mention adding BBQ corn chips to keeps things crunchy. DAMN, bacon wrapped peppers look good! |

Toast with butter and good local honey (well...local to my parents, not local to me...not a lot of apiaries in the city).
I've also, when feeling lazy, taken my jalapeno popper stuffing (finely grated sharp cheddar, cream cheese and cilantro) and used it as a dip for fresh serranos. My keister hated me the next day. |

Serrano gives me an idea. Cooking the jalapenos kills off much of the heat. Still tasty but I like my lips and face to tingle a little bit when eating peppers. I am going to grab some serranos and do em up like the peppers from the other night.

They were delicious but they lost much heat from the cooking. I am going to try serranos next. Still though, they were damn tasty. Makes a kickass breakfast. |
