he did some stuff a couple of years back with Ricky Scaggs and Earl Scruggs. It was billed as The Three Pickers. Incredible stuff.

He's awesome.  I saw him live a few years ago and he did his own, haunting version of the moody blues "knights in white satin". What an incredible artist.

I saw Doc Watson at Telluride back in the late 80's. This was right after his son had died in a tragic accident. His set was something to remember and in that setting it was almost ethereal with the Telluride cliffs as a background and the sound of his voice and instrument rising up to the sky above.

I have been to the Telluride Bluegrass Fest 5 times. Saw Doc Watson once, and people such as, Norman Blake , Vassar Clements, John Hartford.  What a great place!
