Watched a movie years ago about German and British pilots in the same "camp" in Ireland.  Good movie but can't remember the name of it.

I did not know that. Why would there be German and Allied Aircraft over Ireland?  Seems like a long distance for the Germans.

It was a very gentle internment, they could spend the day in town, but had to return to the camp at night.



I think there are examples of British pilots "escaping", and being returned to Ireland by the British.
