I fricking love honey mustard!  But it is far from an end all.  for a lot of other things I like brown/dijon/spicy.

I don't really like regular yellow much at all.

Depends, I like plain yellow on a sammich most of the time, spicy brown mustard on burgers, honey mustard on hot dogs..etc
1/18/2012 6:50:35 AM EDT
[#14]
Poll fail. Brown and Dijon should be separate choices.

The bright yellow sauce passed off as mustard in this country is not allowed in my home.  I'm German damnit.

Poll = FAIL

Brown mustard and Dijon mustard are radically different products.

You probably should just stick with generic brand yellow mustard from the discount box store

As said above it depends on its application.  I will say that mustard should be used on almost any dish.  I really like Colemans and Lowensenf.

My family comes from St. Genevieve, my grandmother was 3rd generation American, but German was still the primary language spoken in her house.

Posting this has given me a craving for Oblerle sausage.

This. Also there is no poll option for spicy Asian mustard.

Lately I've been buying French's Dijon w/ Chardonnay because it goes on sale and I have coupons

Dijon. And I'm not talking about that sweet abomination Grey Poupon. If it doesn't come from Dijon, France it's not Dijon mustard.

I like most any kind
once had some nasty cajun coarse ground. it was very course and tasted like they cut it with horseradish

but i do love some plain old yellow mustard on a corn dog...

It's a loophole...Dijon mustard (unlike Champagne, Ysigny butter etc) does not fall under the "Appellation d' Origine Controlée" clause.

But yeah, I agree.

I like Amora or Maille. Very easily available aswell and tons of variations (for those who like that).
