Jehovah's Witnesses go to a Mormon house, or the opposite.  Are they civil?  Or, does it kinda "cancel itself out"?

Throw in a mooslim and a Southern Baptist and you'd have a black hole of silliness.

Never go fishing with just one Baptist. He will drink all your beer.

A funny story, sort of.

My dad was a Baptist preacher for the last 20 couple of years. About 1987 or so, two years after my dad got out of Baptist Seminary he attended, we had a carload of Jehovah's witnesses cam to the house. Of course, having had them come up before, I asked my dad if I should start plan 1, 2, or 3.
1.  Let the dogs out and run off and hide.
2.  Grab the guitar, the amp,  crank it up and jam some Green Manalishi ( with the two pronged crown ) Judas Priest version
3.. Grab the shotgun, put in the hillbilly teeth, and play Deliverance.

To my surprise, he said to let them in.

Wow, I thought, this should be interesting.

Well, I let them in.
They spilled their guts and proselytized their truth. After they were done, and I had watched my dad remain silent, ( something he normally didn't do ) , I knew something good was coming. I knew this, because I never witnessed that behavior from my father unless of course, it was one of my attempts to persuade him into letting me do something that was totally inappropriate in his eyes for me to do. The results were never that good for me. The "witnesses" fared better than I did though.

The first thing he said was.

"That's interesting. Thank you for sharing"
They, thinking they had won a convert, started getting the literature out. He stopped them in their tracks.

" You might find it interesting fellows, that I too, am a witness for Jehovah. Let me share something with you"

In his new found zeal in the faith, and just getting the Associates job at a local church, he started witnessing to them."

Halfway through, they were asking him questions. And when he was done, he had converted one of them, said the prayer with him, and given them all literature from his literature stash. lol

I don't know how the other guys wound up, but the one guy was definitely saved.

Now that I think about it, it was probably a good thing that I didn't do any of my normal prepared responses.

To your question as it is written.

I think this is the answer you're looking for.

Funny question. Our neighbors at the time were LDS and one day the JWs came by. After I sent the JWs politely away, they walked over to our neighbors. I continued to work in the yard as I had the very same question. A whole lot of friendly chatter was all that ensued. Based on this one observation, I take it that LDS engage the JW much more than my "I'm Roman Catholic and good to go, have a nice day" line.

Now, what happens with LDS missionaries happen to stop by an LDS household? They get invited in for a meal and subsequently fewer doors get knocked on.
