| Wow, that was a pretty serious flick. Depressing, but well done. |

I like a wide variety of subjects to read and watch. Me too...like Blackhawk Down, We were soldiers, HEAT, Tombstone, Way of the Gun..I like a big variety! Oh yeah, I forgot... This is arfcom... You have to project a strong homoerotic image so people don't think you're gay. Kill kill kill! Blood blood blood.

I saw it when it came out, Angelina Jolie wasn't very well known at the time...if at all.
All anybody could talk about were those lips! I like movies about crazy bitches. A woman's mind is a mysterious place, to see an already deranged piece of equipment suddenly act even more deranged....always good entertainment. My all time favorite crazy-chick scene is when Alabama Whorley (Patricia Arquette) kills hitman James Gandalfini in "True Romance". Her character wasn't played as a "crazy-bitch" but under the surface was a "crazed-bitch" who goes absolutely psycho on Gandalfini then just turns it off like a switch. No big surprise, the movie came from the same script as "Natural Born Killers", it just took a turn in Florida....."I'm not what they call Florida White Trash...." - Alabama Whorley. She tastes like a peach, dontcha know! Or to quote Sailor Ripley to Lula (Nic Cage to Laura Dern) in Wild at Heart..... "Baby, the way your mind works is God's own private mystery...." |

Bitches....already deranged....nice stuff there....and we all know that men are just fucking perfect huh? Wow, some ignorant words even for GD. ![]() I didn't say that stuff, just to be clear. I found it to be a compelling story of some troubled people, some lost for good, others able to be helped by caring individuals that at first seemed to be evil institutionalists. Chix are cool... Simmer down.

A great film. Really plays with the boundaries of what we consider sane/insane. Also, Angelina Jolie can really pull off a perfect psycho. OP, this is definitely on my list of chick flicks I've enjoyed. If you like this, consider Robin Williams' "What Dreams May Come." It's a modern day interpretation of Dante, involving Robin's attempt to save the soul of his wife after she commits suicide. |

No, only to those who think the opinions of virtual personalities on the internet matter. ETA - I saw it, but like most of the movies I've seen over the last 15 or so years, I caught it in bits and pieces inbetween calls while at work. so my recollection is spotty. +1 for Angelina and her attributes. |

Since you are so tactical and tier 1, even when it comes to movies, here is a clip more suited to someone of your toughness level! I am definitely gonna remember the whole "strangle your opponent with your own intestines" thing. It's so "tacticool". |
