I am off today and sitting in the office surfing ARFCOM. Wife for some reason put on Dallas SWAT for background.
What a stink bomb. And I'm no cop hater but this show is stupid. I think I am colored by the fact that I've worked with a surgeon who is on their Team. He is a douche, despised by all. I wonder if many of the Dallas SWAT members are so viewed by other cops? Some of them seem to have OK personalities but I suspect that they are behaving nice for the camera and are in fact arrogant asses. I hope I'm totally misjudging them. |

I, for one, don't understand why you want to televise your teams tendencies and abilities to a nationwide audiance in the first place. This has made many of their peers have a certain " view" about them.

He can be a douche all he wants, that guy and his partner saved Lt Marshall's life when he was shot in the neck with a .45acp while a bitch of a mother was using her infant as a human shield. Quoted:

Steve Claggett, Rich Emberlin I have personally met. Super nice guys. Eddie Junger was another nice guy, but I've only met him a couple times. J.D. Curtis is also a nice guy and a member at DFW Gun Range. I met these guys well before the show ever came out. That said, they have all moved on to other things. There are a couple that I have never met, but have been told I should be glad I didnt. The same can be said about anyone in any walk of life. |

Quoted: An hour of cluster fuck, jackassery and boredom. Yeah. I recall there being a lot of those shows a couple of years ago, and they all went away. I think someone realized that it just made cops look like a bunch of d-bags. A bunch of juice-heads trying to act macho for the camera while the raids tended to end up with a bag of weed and grandpa's shotgun (aka, an "AK-47"). After completely destroying the home, of course. |

And good on him. I'll make sure certain people know that (though I bet they do already). |

I think his name is Alex Eastman, but I forget what the other Tactical Doctors name is. |
