Helldog, you can bring about anything.  Where the problem arises is how you transport it.  Unloaded in case or box or in plain view is OK so long as ammo is not reachable by anyone in vehicle.  ie, lock either gun or ammo in the trunk or a case.  Idiotic CCW laws!!!

Some exceptions for cops but complex.

I will be bringing my AR, HK 93, M1A, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, No1 Mark III Enfield, and possibly my 1903A3.  I will also be bringing about 4000 rounds of ammo, along with 10 computer cases, 5 20# propane tanks and some various smaller targets.  My form 4 is still in limbo, so no M16 this time.
