I am ambidextrous and I have no problems operating them in either hand. Sounds like a solution looking for a problem. If you ever have to use a right handed glock in crisis situation but the only thing you have practiced with is a left handed model you might have some issues.

I do prefer ambi safeties on pistols that have safeties. And of course there's bullpups.
