| if these idiots running for president would learn to SHUT THE FUCK UP about social issues until AFTER they are elected, they would win in a huge land slide. Reagan did it and look what happened. this does not mean that you can't hold the position, but social issues should take the absolute bottom of the priority list right now. make it all about the economy and obama, and you will win. i dont get why its so hard to do. |

Two reasons.......issues like the economy, illegal immigration and big gov are complicated. And nobody has any real idea how to fix them that would fly. But issues like gay marriage are simple. And with people pissed off about DADT repeal and the fear that gay marriage is right around the corner. And lastly you have groups like NOM who have huge piles of money for candidates who sing their tune........no money out there for "fixing the economy" |
