I have noticed that there are a number of people on this site that some how think their join date or post count automatically means they are superior to others. Granted there are many members on this site that do have high post counts and have been here for many years that do know what they are talking about as well as low post count and new members that are equally as knowledgeable. What I think is funny is how there are those members that when they realize they are wrong or get upset tend to post things like, "Whatever you say Mr joined in July." or "Maybe when you have a higher post count, your points will be valid." Last I checked, talking or posting too much does not equate to being more intelligent. Also known as "Norm" syndrome. |

Quoted: I think it's often said in jest or sarcastically. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile You have a point and I have seen this too. Jest is one thing, but what is sad is that some people really do think that this way. Of course I may also just have a tendency to bring out the "inner asshole" in others. ![]() |

Quoted:
The only pecking order I see that matters is that we are all dumb enough to be hanging out in General Discussion and deserve the abuse we receive. ![]() Packinheavy is correct. The post counts do matter. I'm changing the toilet paper roll now. Do you suggest over or underhand? |
|
Quoted: There is a strong correlation between those that join near an election year and the presence of profound retardation. Stay a couple of years. Expecting to have overnight credibility is...well, counterproductive. Why is someone having to explain this to you? No one every said I expected credibility overnight. Whether or not someone believes me does not hurt my feelings. I just find it interesting that some people really think date and post count makes them more intelligent. |

Quoted: WTF? It is always over unless your gay, Canadian, or have an unnatural fear of over hand toilet paper. I spend a disproportionate amount of time on this site compares to my post count. I lurk a couple of hours a day, but unless I have something to add, I normally don't post. (Unlike this post). Yeah, who says lurkers don't know a few things themselves. We're just not loudmouths like the rest of GD. |

Comes in a roll with tear-off sheets, useful for drying eyes of spurned posters with low post counts and late join dates. |

When someone goes off the deep end and dies in a blaze of stupid it's usually a noob. |

Quoted: I have only been shooting and into firearms for a little over 3 years now, so I probably know less then you have forgotten. So while I am a noob, I also do not pretend to know more then I do. Put your curser on "user info". Your number is 277,160. Mine is 252. You have much to learn grasshopper. |
