George Friedman founded Stratfor, which is the first and probably still most respected private intelligence gathering entity. A lot of very powerful and wealthy people pay a lot of money to hear what he thinks.

didn't he post frequently on arfcom years ago? I seem to remember things ended badly for him? Forgive me if I misremember...
