| The other day there was a thread about an advertisement on Craigs List from an ER Doc about people wanting pain meds and how to get them. Why the fuck is this ok? Only the patient can feel the pain but...no injury/condition=no pain=no meds. Testing(MRI etc.) that shows negative = no meds. What's the problem? |

Because it's cheaper time/cost/equipment wise to give someone 20 viccodin than waste hours, thousands, and bed space chasing their phantom ailment.. |
| I wonder what will happen the first time someone on 'script vicodin kills someone in a traffic accident and sued the doc who perscriped the meds. The same as suing a bartender for serving someone who is drunk and that drunk going out and killing someone in a traffic accident. |

Hang in there bud. |
