I have a NIKON COOLPIX s4000.

Up until now when I've taken video etc it's been able to transfer the videos over fine.....Well for some reason on both of the house computers the video will not transfer. Does not give me any error etc it just keeps doing the file transfer windows part but nothing happens....I have to close it out. It will transfer old stuff fine but I've redone videos in the same spot and all of them have the same problem.

What could be the issue?

Thanks

Try using a different memory card

Yeah, reformat the card, maybe?

Maybe a new memory card? Could be a corrupted SD card, do images still transfer fine?

If you have another one (you can get really cheap ones at best buy or newegg or whatever) and see if it works to transfer movies.

You could also try getting a cheap USB card reader that plugs into your computer (AKA doesn't use the camera to transfer the images), and see if transferring them that way would work

It could also be a problem with the card writer sotfware/hardware on the actual camera, if another memory card doesn't solve the issues, I'd try emailing Nikon and seeing what they have to say. It may need to have it sent in for repair.

Probably file system corruption or a bad cell on the memory card.
