Are there any worth buying at this point?
If so, where can I get them? |

To me, they're still prohibitively expensive. I would guess that in a year or so, they'll be reasonably affordable. My opinion also. I won't do CFL's ever! I'm waiting for this company to come on line and then wait for the prices to come down: http://switchlightbulbs.com/ |

4sevens.com has some stuff. So many cool toys, not enough money. Want a 2200 lumen flashlight, just have to find a need for one. ![]() Oveready.com 1100 lumen head or drop-ins for a 6P or Z2 etc. Use a bored host for a Z2 with 18650 and you still get around 700 lumens. There are some HID lights and incans that will start a crumpled newspaper on fire. Especially with dark black and whit pics on the page. I have a q3 5A cree drop-in in my Z2 I've managed to tweek and play with enough that I trust it. Z2 used 42 bucks, dropin for 4.2v 17670 20 bucks including shipping. 17670 about 6 bucks and 139 charger under 30 bucks. Runs for hour then drops out of regulation and gets dimmer over 2-3 hour period. I've a bunch of different ones Solarforce P7 3mode 4.2v, Solarforce R2 200+ lumens with strobe switch runs off 2x4.2v, single cell from Shining beam with crenulated bezel running 350 lumen 3mode MCE with high low and strobe modes. Also have hard to find Maglite 2C with Malkoff drop-in. Also have 3 regular Quarks with tactical switch. 1xAA, 2xAA and 18650 body with 3-9v head. |
