It's heavy, the switch sucks for a weapon application, it has no shockproof bezel. The combo from IWC costs the same, the light weighs 3 ounces less, the batteries last TEN TIMES LONGER, it takes one less battery, it has an easy-to-operate switch and is pretty much shockproof. Disclaimer: I own Surefire 6P's, 9P's, and a LaRue LT-707 and I respect their quality and their uses. I also recognize their limitations. |

really, any of them will work just fine on a AR, you don't really need a fancy mount either
I would definately go LED though, check the EE there are quite a few good deals on there where you can often get NIW surefire lights for almost half the price I really really like surefire's customer service. |
