WASHINGTON Ñ The House and Senate are at odds now that the Senate has agreed to let female
soldiers use military hospitals abroad to get abortions.

One of the many reasons to kick the demofags out of the Senate. They are an embarrasment.

I was hoping that wouldn't be posted.

Well, here we go again. Anyone got another evolution or gay thread to post while we're at it?

This should be locked right now, there is only ONE way this can go.

Hey, as long as we're going to let women serve in combat roles, we might as well provide frontline daycare, too.

When a male soldier has sex with a woman without contraceptives, nothing happens to him, barring STDs.

When a female soldier has sex with a man without contraceptives, she can possibly be rendered unable to perform her duties due to bearing a child.

The obvious solution is to make contraceptives mandatory for all female soldiers.  No controversial abortions for those who want to remain on duty, no maturnity leave for those who don't.  Win-win.

Want to bear a child?  Leave the military, at least temporarily.

That will satisfy no one. Except for the diaphragm obviously, all female contraceptives work by stopping implantation of the embryo in the uterus. They do NOT prevent conception. Obviously those who beleve life begins at conception will not be any happier.

Oh, yeah, and loose yet more trained personnel to the civilian world PERMINENTLY instead of just for a year. Yeah that really helps out the recrutment/retention problem

Its also not the point of this thread now is it. Women service personnel want these services because they DO NOT want to have to leave their duty stations should they accidentally become pregnant. Which can happen even when your on birth control. With modern methods (i.e. RU486) treating pregnancy is no different than treating VD in men.
