I did match.com a couple of years back. I should write a book about it.
It is bascially the bar scene online. I know several others that have had the same experience. You would not beleive the amount of married people on there. It is a significant number. Several women friends of mine had dates only to find out a lot of the guys were married. With the women, I found a lot of them lied about their age and used pictures of themselves that were several years old. Every one of the divorced ones wanted to tell you how bad their ex was, the ex's new wife/girlfriend is such a bitch, her kids hate his kids, etc. etc. I got sick of it. I had enough drama in my previous marriage and I am more or less a widower with respect to my ex who lives 150 miles away and is locked up in an institution. None of her family live near me and I have the best of both worlds. Maybe it works out for some, but at least with the 40 somethings, it is pretty shitty. |
