In my opinion still once of the most under rated actors out there.

He was totally blown away by Ian McShane on that show, I have to say.

The Emerald Forest. From what I can tell of the plot summary, it's basically Taken meets Fern Gully. Yeah. I don't even know.

Got to meet the guy at a Memorial Day event in Los Angeles.  Got to meet John Voight, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Anne Margaret, and Robert Davi as well.  The coolest guy I met that day though was Gerald McRaney.  Talked to him for over an hour about history and such.  He knows his stuff, too.  Has an interest in General Barksdale and his Mississippi brigade.

I haven't heard of The Emerald Forest either.

Southern Comfort was the movie that introduced me to Booths. And I agree he's an underrated actor.

Lets not forget his memorable but brief appearence in "sin city".

John Boorman.........his son Charlie Boorman was the boy, he grew up and does these very cool travel documentaries, Long Way Around is a must see if you like bikes.

He also directed Deliverance and Excalibur.

Same here. Pretty good movie.
I haven't seen it in ages, but I think I'll have to fix that soon.

And I didn't know he's a conservative. Makes it all the more better.
