Hey all I am in a bit of a spot.  I bought an AR about a month and a half ago from a gunshop that posted on another forum.  It was a good price and it was the gun I wanted so I bit.  Since I am a deployed soldier, the seller agreed to hold the rifle until I am about to go home and then we can work out my home gun shops FFL transfer info. So I haven't actually taken possesiion of the fire arm yet.  Yesterday I found the same seller selling what appears to be the exact same rifle as mine for $ 125.00 cheaper.  I'm not as interested in getting the money back as I would be him putting on a set of YHM handrails which I planned to replace the A2 style with anyway but I'm not sure how to approach him.  Would it be wrong or bad form of me to ask him to do this?

Any tips or suggestions?

Never hurts to ask.

He should tell you to pound sand.  If it was a couple of days I could understand that, but 6+ weeks.  Plus he is already doing you a favor by storing it for you while you are gone
You bought something and agreed to pay a certian price for it
Its possible that the newest batch order came in at a lower price

I hear you. On my end he has already received payment in full for the AR.

If you bought something for X, then found it cheaper later that is not his fault, even if he is selling it at a reduced price.
