It has been a while since that I have put up a question - I realy would like to do a poll on this one...

In the dating game - if you have broken and put it back together - does it ever work?

I have just broken off an year and a half engagment - while we were dating we  had two good break ups - but we kept coming back together.

so what has been the Hive experience?  Once it goes sideways - should it ever be put back together or just bail and run for the hills?

There is a reason you left the first time.  And the second.  And now the third.  You're already two bad decisions deep.  I say just give her half your stuff now and move on.

Did not work for me. Fundamental incompatibility.

Sounds like a brilliant idea to get back together.  Once you're together, make sure to have lots of kids and max out your credit.  It's all worth it in the name of love.

When you take a swig of spoiled milk, throw the carton out. Don't put it back in the fridge. It's not going to get any better.

Perhaps posting a pic of said ex-fiancee would help.

Pretty sure that this is a law around here...

You're right.  OP, I am withholding my vote until you post pics!

I'd say it would depend on the reasons for the earlier split. If, for example, you were still in college and not ready for a serious relationship but have graduated and want to give it a shot, or maybe were geographically separated previously and now live in the same city, that relationship has a much better chance at success than one that ended due to cheating.

Improper use of a/an/and almost guarantees failure.

Wow - so far it is at 60% that if you put somthing back together that it is going to fail.

I agree - that would be the lesson to be learned from this....

I thought that there might be some one that would say that they were married, divorced and married again and it was awesome the second time - LOL
