This just flashed on CNN.

He is the first candidate for 2012 Presidency so far, to receive Secret Service protection.

I think it means he's being seen as the most probable winner for the Primary.

I am fairly confident he will be nominated and elected.

He is just too popular with too many people to fail.

There is zero chance those inbred morons would support Cain.

This could get good. With his falling poll numbers, I seriously doubt that he gets the nod. But this is a volatile business. So we'll see.

Agreed. I don't have a "favorite" candidate yet, but he's a helluva lot better than the others from what I can see. This is going to be a tough one...

We're still 6 weeks from the first vote in the first state being cast.

And according to the headline on Drudge, Cain is running a distant third in Iowa.

Apparently Cain's Campaign requested it, Napalitano reviewed it and the Congressional Advisory (whoever they are) assented to it.

Cain has probably been getting threats.

This is about him getting threats, the SS does not guess who will win and then get with them.

Has nothing to do with probability of winning or not.

Drudge is referring to the Rasmussen poll that has Cain in 3rd place the same day the Univ. of Iowa poll has Cain in first place by 5.
Rasmussen for heaven sake.
It's Iowa
It's a caucus
Let me remember who carried Iowa in the past Presidenetial election......hmmm.    Oh yes. Some dude named Obama.
Iowa...pulse of the nation. Not.

But, to sum it up Cain in 2012

Oh and while it's great the SS is covering Cain and they should be covering ALL the Rep candidates.

I'm sorry... is he receiving racist threats?  Is that what this is about?  It COULDN'T be threats based on policy.  He's so bland.  I mean, no Santorum.  Or is it being suggested that the people who run these sorts of things have decided or gotten word before anyone else that Cain had been "chosen?"
