Yeah, that movie is very uncomfortable to watch.

Never saw the movie, but I did see the episode of American Justice that told the real story. The real life story was about as crazy as a Hollywood movie.
I'm going to have to check out the movie now.
I purposely avoided Alpha Dog, because Jesse James Hollywood was a serious punk loser. The promos looked like it glorified him.

The movie is pretty true to the real story, although they actually managed to leave out some of the serious WTF stuff.

The book based on the true crime is actually much better. The movie was barely watchable just because so much was left out.
