Im politically retarded for lack of a better term.

Why do you not want to vote for Romney? Specifically.

Who would you like to see in office and why?

Im trying to get my bearings straight so I know who to vote for.

He's a Big City New England Eastener with not a clue about what the middle part of the country considers conservative philosophy and behavior.  Not only that, he's a demonstrated RINO and blows with the political wind as he thinks it might suit his odds of holding an office.

I would consider voting for him if he uprooted everything and moved to rural Wright County, Missouri for a couple of years, maybe get a farm with a milk parlor and 50 Holsteins to juice twice a day.

I expect he would have a different outlook shortly.

He signed an assault weapons ban as governor of massachusetts. That is reason enough for me to dislike him.

If you like Romney, you might be a liberal.

Mr. Romney is a Bad Man. He banned scary assault rifles in his home state of Massachusetts. He also instituted government health care in that state. He kicked our dog.

Maine, Vermont and NH are the real North East. Nearly everything else is a liberal turdboggan, sliding rapidly downhill, and into an icy crevasse.

Romney is a rich cocksucker that helped put MA into the broke ass predicament it is currently in, and he will be more than happy to help the entire US go the same way as MA. He's an anti gun, big spending, rich boy asshole that thinks he's the neglected Republican messiah.

ETA) I don't like him much, as you can see.I have to live next door to MA, so he's not popular with me.

The funny thing is that Democrats think he is the perfect Republican candidate. The problem is, it's because he's a MA Republican, which means Democrat in any sane state.

My sister had a brother in law in New York that is convinced he's as conservative as can be.  I couldn't determine whether we agreed about anything.

I really pissed my dad off the other night when I said I'd just as soon Obama get re-elected as for Romney to be president.

When a man like Romney is in office, people like my dad who don't follow politics think, "oh good, a Republican conservative is president, all is well, and I don't need to be paying attention."  At least Obama being in office is waking up a few.

For instance, I have family that have voted nothing but Democrat for decades simply because "that's what dad did" (oh, and who my union endorses).  That same family now pays attention to what a candidate stands for and what their policies are and vote for the conservative!  This change occurred because Obama is so blatant in his liberal views and ideology which opened their eyes as to what's happening in our country.

He signed an assault weapons ban

Obamacare was based on Romenycare which he helped design.

He appointed more liberal judges than independents and more independents than conservatives

He is a professional car politician that will say what ever he can to get elected and then push his progressive agenda.

What is there to like?

He's worse than that. Having an (R) by his name he may get some of the other moderate Republicans RINO's to go along with his shit. That's the last thing we need. I'd rather see 4 years of gridlock just as long as we can keep the current USSC justices alive...

He is an entrenched part of what makes Republicans bad for America.  A
power structure that cares only for itself and feeding its own power and
corruption.  After 4 or 8 years of Romney giving conservatives a bad
name while advancing the liberal agenda we would have a pendulum swing
to an even more outright socialist regime than Obamas.

I'm thinking "no".

If Romney gets the nod, you better be damn sure I'm staying home with a bottle of good whisky come election day. I have no interest in seeing him become president. Every other republican will at least get my vote, whether I like them or not, but not that shitbird. I'm still holding out hope for Cain, and would really like for Huntsman to have a shot, but wishes and $7 will buy me a Jack and Coke these days, so.....

He doesn't just support an AWB, he signed one in MA, and is the grandfather of Obamacare. Before there was Obamacare, there was Romneycare. He also appointed a majority of DEMOCRAT judges during his term.
He's a commie with a R next to his name who was the Governor of one of the worst states in the union.

Romney––Brought to you by the same electorate that gave Teddy Kennedy a lifetime appointment to the US senate.  The only advantages he has over Obama––He doesn't loath America, conservatives should have more sway over judicial appointments(think Harriet Myers),  and he is unlikely to get a pass for his incompetence.

He's the epitome of what's wrong with the GOP.  Just because he's got "the nod" from the other establishment Republicans; or, just because a GOP candidate should be a shoe-in after the last 4 years and he's got the money doesn't mean I should vote for him.

He shares absolutely none of the same values that I hold dear, moral, legal or ethical.

Doesn't support the 2nd Amendment.

Doesn't follow even the same right to life beliefs his own church believes, let alone my own.

While he may be pro-business to the point he's going to look out for his Wall Street and other big business cronies, what will he actually do for the small business owner?

Romney-Care.....individual mandate..     Do you actually think he'll repeal Obama-Care?

How many of Obama's executive orders will he actually over-rule or rescind?

So tell me exactly how good Romney will be for this country?

Fuhgeddabowdit!

While this makes a good amount of sense to me, I took it with a pound of salt.
