What is the probability of a Matrix 4?

Since that was the Matrix v6.0, I would like for it to be more like 1, with maybe the action of the interstate on Reloaded

After #2 and #3's reception, there will be no #4 for many years, if ever.
The ideas and execution in #1 were great, but it just didn't work for #2 and #3. I think they had a decent idea for the series, but the story got out of control and became so unbelievable no one liked #2 or #3.  My theory is the only reason they even put #3 out was because they'd shot it at the same time as #2 and figured they'd at least recoup some of the production costs.

Andy and Larry Wachowski have said there would never be a "Matrix 4".

All three movies were well received at the box office considering their "R" rating.
First of the trilogy had a very original and creative style. The second installment had the highest box office take.
Rare in the movie biz and even more rare when it is written as a transition feature with the final installment to follow.
Critics had issues with #2, and #3 but they suck goats anyway. Production and entertainment value was simply outstanding throughout.

I would love to see a "Matrix 4" but without the Wachowski Brothers it would undoubtedly blow chunks.

The Matrix
Budget = $63M
Worldwide receipts = $427.3M

Matrix Reloaded
Budget = $150M
Worldwide receipts = $742.1M

Matrix Revolutions
Budget = $150M
Worldwide receipts = 463.5M

Total production cost = $363M
Total worldwide receipts = $1632.9M

How much money it made doesn't mean shit. The star wars prequels made a lot of money and they were still crap.
Matrix 2 & 3 sucked total ass and I only saw them once.

They could always revamp it but its ALWAYS about the writing, CGI and acting and all that crap don't mean diddly if there isn't a good story there.

The Matrix was Ghost In The Shell 2, anyway, so you might as well go back instead of forward and watch GITS to get more of the action.

Or Dark City for a better vision of Plato's cave.

And I kind of preferred the second and third Matrix movies to the first.  Except for a couple scenes like the rave and whatever, of course.

yeah I liked 1 and 2. 3 wasn't very good IMO but pretty much everyone says 3 sucked so it might as well be fact lol.
