With all of the game cameras that are out there - woudl there be any cameras that I can set up for inside my house to take pics if some was to come in that was not suppose to? Would it keep the last 100 pictures or so? Thanks, Red |

Most DVRs these days come with at least 500 gigabytes of hard drive space, so memory shouldn't be an issue for you. |

Look at Panasonic BLC 101A or BLC 121A or any of the other 6 or 56 cameras Panasonic sells.
Amazon.com link 1 or Amazon.com link 2 One is 'wireless' (needs a power cord though), the other is wired. Both go through your home computer network to be viewed locally or over the internet. Both can save stills or video to a computer in your house. Both can save a limited number of stills on the camera itself. They are decent enough quality. They are INSANELY inexpensive for what they do. There is a learning curve in getting them set up. |

Honeywell makes a DIY security system which can incorporate lights, siren, motion sensors inside & outside and will email your phone pictures live video or still pics as the alarm is going off or you can log into the system with a phone to view the cameras which record into a DVR at home & also send occasional still images to a remote location. |

I use some foscam cameras for baby monitors and they're very easy to setup, even for remote viewing. Combine the cameras with with an app called tinycam and you've got a handy remote monitoring system.

What I am looking for is somthing to set up to catch my ex or her kids if them ever come into my house.
I kind of have a pinch point and know where I want to set it up. Just know that one day one of them is going to be in my house and I would like to know it. Thanks, Red |

Until we actually invested in a security system, we just had a trail camera on the front of the shop... it would take pictures of anyone who walked thru the door... A 2GB card held about 1,000 pictures in the Cuddeback we had, and you also get IR with most of them so it will take pictures at night.
There are some programs that do facial recognition to just take pictures of unknown people, but I doubt you would want to pay for it. |
