For maybe the last year and a half or so I have had an idea rattling around in the back of my head....learn another language. I took Spanish in high school so i thought that it would be an easy one to go with as I have already had some VERY minor training. Im not talking about grammatical Spanish either. I dont want to write in Spanish. But conversational Spanish, so i can talk with someone and not have to go reaching for a English/Spanish dictionary everytime.
Has anyone here ever used that software? Any other recomendations? I have even thought about taking a class at my local Community College, but I dont want to get caught up with writing papers and and class work for a grade. I dont want credit, this is genuinely for self improvment. My step-dad used to be fluent when he lived in caracas venezuela for a few years, so i would have someone in the family i could practice with, although he will be rusty. |
