Meh, Facebook didn't pioneer the methodology - they just captured a way to engage a "customer" to a level that allows us to receive targeted marketing.
Just watch what happens to the "ads" when you consistently search for firearm related content on google. You'll notice the ads on the page end up being related to the stuff you consistently research. It seems reasonable to me. Now if i could only figure out a way to stop my spouse from signing me up to all of those "male enhancements" - I'd be able to get rid of all that spam in email. (es joke, es joke mang). |
