So I've learned a few things since I've been here. Applied a few of them in the meal and photo tonight. Crappy phone pics, camera is dead.
Grilled up a sirloin tip roast on indirect heat with oak wood for some flavor, also grilled up the red bell, poblano and jalapeno peppers, onion, and made me some chili. Threw a few chipotles and habaneros in for fun. No beans. Cooked some cornbread in a cast iron pan. I'm drinking some Tyranena Hop Whore IPA. It's one from their Brewer's Gone Wild collection of beers. It's a small brewery in Lake Mills, Wisconsin and they make some great beer if you can find it. DPMS lower, Del-Ton upper. EOTech 512, Surefire 6P Taurus PT1911SS (Haters are gonna hate!) Pietta 1851 Navy in .44 Benchmade 710DS So, hows that for a yankee?

0 for chili with no beans. but +1 for tyranena, love me some tyranena Ever been to the brewery? they have a beer hall and you can order a sampler of everything on tap in 4oz glasses for $10, or get a growler of something to go for I think $14, refills are cheaper. I haven't done a tour yet. |
