Why wasn't I informed of these delicious things earlier?! While I have never seen them on a menu, at every Mexican restaurant I ask for them, their response is "how many would you like?". For those who don't know, chiles toreados are jalapeno peppers, lightly coated with oil, cooked on a grill or griddle until blistered, then lightly salted and some lemon juice.   |

I eats 'em all the time... Edit: I'm talking about real tacos, the small soft corn tortilla ones.  Come to think of it I haven't seen a "regular" (hard shell with ground beef and stuff) in years, but strangely enough I want one now |
