Excellent movie....

Based on the ending credits, looks like there may be a number #6 in the works...

Yeah, that Paul Walker and his steely blue eyes.

It was the best of the bunch, but the world doesn't need another fast and furious movie.

Actually, I saw this with a friend who was in town.  I was entertained.  I liked the first, disliked the next 2, saw the fourth with a girl - also kind of liked.

The theatre groaned when the Rock had his really fucking stupid, generic, retarded line.  You'll know it when you hear it.

I am still trying to figure out why FF 'Tokyo Drift' was part of the movie franchise..

Yeah, I liked it too.

I like the franchise and I hope it keeps going. Not enough car movies out there these days.

Fast Five > Tokyo Drift > The Fast And The Furious > 2F2F > Fast and Furious

I heard that all the good film schools are making that script part of their 2011-2012 curriculum.

My opinion

F5 and TD were probably the best.

I think they figured out that it was worth it to continue making them, at first they weren't sure.

Now that it's clear that people enjoy them, they've put effort back into it.

I wish they'd put some effort into Bond movies.

The only negative comment that I would say about Fast Five is that it did not show enough ass and car candy.

I hope the next one has moar Culo and Chargers...

Does anyone know the difference between the Theatrical version and the Extended version, other than it being 'Extended'.  I saw both and cannot tell the difference.

It was very good.  But let's face it.  It could have sucked balls and I would have still watched it for Eva Green.

Excellent?

It was good, I don't know about excellent. It was certainly better than QoS though.

I'm hoping http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1074638/ will be great. Really hoping.
As for FF6, The Faster and Furiouser Still - coming in 2013 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1905041/

I live a few miles away from where Lucas Black (lead guy in Tokyo Drift) grew up. Lots of relatives around still. Ill run into him from time to time at the Bars when he is back in town.

The scene after the credits pissed me off since it pretty much makes the 4th movie worthless.

Five Fast Five Furiouser Five was entertaining, in that it was if Ocean's Eleven was written by an 11 year old who liked cars and explosions.

The production quality was pretty good, but I could never understand why the cartel guys attacked the DoS convoy after XXX or Vin Diesel or whatever the character's name is was captured. If they just didn't do anything, the DSS guys are gone (because they accomplished their stated mission of capturing Vin Diesel), and Vin Diesel is gone because he's in custody.

Literally, all the bad guys had to do in order to win was to do nothing. Just sit there for a couple hours, then get back to the business of being a bad guy when your two problems take care of each other.

Didn't Vin Diesel want too much money because he was a "big star" by then and thought they couldn't make the movie without him?

Theres a rumor going around that Jason Statham is going to be in the sixth film.

That's OK, Han was killed in Tokyo Drift and he's in this one. If you watch it with the idea that it's more a prequel to Tokyo Drift than an in-order sequel some of the ridiculous feeling goes away.

Each one of those films goes overboard. I like car chases and explosions, so I watch them, but every film made me go: too many times.

My favorite part of this movie was their 1/4 mile race that takes about 43 seconds to complete.  I laughed.

So what was Paul walkers job in this movie? Secret service? In the first movie he was a cop for 8 months, made it to vice, swat, almost detective, then fugitive, then fbi.

I like the franchise.  I will continue to watch them.  I dig all the different cars and such they throw at it every time.  I love the Nissan Skylines that they continue to bring in.

I completely disagree. They are completely awesome, and the more people become interested in performance cars, the more people will realize that emissions and vehicle safety regulations are bullshit. Another Fast and Furious movie is one of many things that this world needs right now.

Must be all hand made parts, since no one makes any replacement parts.

I know for a FACT they start with better cars then this:

and this car was made into this:

as you can see, these are hard to find cars, and whats left of them is getting smaller and smaller. People are starting with the above because of how rare the cars are getting.

The FF Guys even sell the parts off the chargers after they are destroyd.

A lot of it is, and some repop is coming on the market. These are not Crudmeros. You can't build an entire car out of a catalog....

I know, I know. Then again just because the "prequel" shows newer cars doesn't mean Tokyo Drift doesn't take place at a later time, just that no Japanese were in town that day with a newer car.
It works better as a stand alone story but this way it "sort of" works within the rest.

You can order a whole damn car.

I'm not much of a Dodge-guy, but if I found a few parts for a Cuda, I'd start putting one together.
