It's got potential over FaceBook, since Google can really learn from all the mistakes that FB made/makes. But it's not very well populated yet.

I have both G+ and a facebook account. I like the interface for G+ but, as stated, it doesn't have nearly the population that the 7+ years of heavy use of facebook has garnered.

Have it, never use it.
Then again I sign into my FB account about once every few months at most.
