The pilot had flown Hueys in Vietnam and the way he would always buzz the top of the hospital, drop like a rock only to go full throttle directly over the pad (of which I was on the edge of) and land like it was a hot LZ... well... there was no doubt he got his wings in combat. He always said if he didn't see something fly off our uniforms then he wasn't doing his job. Cool pic. |

They called in Life Flight, and a freakin Huey landed in our cul-de-sac. It was rather impressive to watch. ETA: The child was fine, EMS on the scene got her breathing again. They flew her to the hospital anyway. |
